Class Projects

Now that we know so much about dinosaurs, lets make them a home!
We can make dioramas of where the dinosaurs lived. A diorama is just making a home out of a box! It will be fun! All you need is an empty box (like a shoe box), some construction paper, toy dinosaurs, crayons or markers and some glue. You can get creative and add all kinds of other stuff too! (Like cotton balls for clouds or rocks for boulders)
Cover the inside of your box with construction paper and color in trees or make them from construction paper too! Then glue your dinosaur's feet to the box. Wait for it to dry and you will have your very own dinosaur display! Your teachers, or parents can help you make your diorama.  Here is a link to an instruction page.
Teachers, when all the students are done, you can set their projects up in the classroom and display them as a Prehistoric Zoo! Or for students at home, you can make more than one diorama, one for each dinosaur, and have your own Prehistoric Zoo too!  Have fun!
